Good day!
I would be grateful for expert opinions about this hunting cutlass of the National Hunting Association by P.Wayersberg.
I will say in advance - the maker mark is etched. In majority of hirschfangers it should be stamped. But I have information that it was Paul Wayersberg who put such marks on cutlass. Please confirm or deny this information.
Thanks in advance for the competent answers.
With respect

The same what I have thought. Interestingly they did use mixed parts, some forms of them (eg. the scabbard fittings by EICKHORN) can be dated back to III R. But overall typically IVth Reich.

Wotan, yes you are right, a mixture of parts, some are from the 3rd Reich others are modern, this has been put together to fool the unwary for financial gain, that's why I call it a fake.

I personally think the blade is post war, original hunting or forestry hirschfangers by Paul Weyersberg are very difficult to find but I do have a couple, I will not show them as there are many post war hirschfangers out there supposedly made by Paul Weyersberg and I'm not going to give the fakers the information they seek.
