Hi Everyone,
A German friend has this Water Customs and need opinions about originality. My knowledge goes only this far that E& F H?rster made Customs daggers. Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards, Wim

Hello Wim, for me an old, well known fake (I think it could be one of the prominet Atwood fakes). Custom daggers (water and land-) did have the distinct arcanthus leaves embellishment not this oak leaves one. There are even more differences (eg. grip) but this is the most obvious. Rergards,

I think we're all in agreement this is a reproduction. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all reproductions were as easily vetted?
