It is a known wartime pattern. very popular both pre war and postwar.. This looks like a brass etc. type alloy. Well the photos aren't the best thats for sure. But from these photos alone,, what I see I don't like. It appears from the photo to be a cast piece. It's old,,just not WW2 old..
Save your money,,a good one will come along! OR , * give it another shot.. Get some better, in focus, well lit photos for a more accurate opinion. Front, sides a couple of inside,birds eye...

The small dot on the side I just noticed, probably a cast bubble .
