The seller should know better. He sells alot of militaria, and quite a bit of German items in his auctions. Even though he should know better, I suspect he's fooled by the piece and believes it's a legitimage example. I imagine it's an innocuous listing. He certainly would not be the first person, collector, etc., to be fooled by this generation of fake KM sabers. (He does however have a couple items listed which have been fiddled with though) I've been seeing these more and more in the last 24 months, and judging from the online auctions, it's fooling ALOT of bidders/collectors.
