not exactly a dagger but a Studentika degen mini by WMF, a well known maker for metal ware 6 ornaments for decoration, please help me to translate the dedication:
" Gg Hensel sl Lbf. Ad. Heimberg Weibn 1935"
Weibn 1935 is for Christmas of 1935 I guess, also Gg Helsen seems to be a Name (dedication to owner?) any help will be wellcome

Nacho, How about something like this ... "George Hensel to his dear friend Adalbert Heimberg - Christmas 1935." Very nice! Bill

Hi Bill! thanks for the input, so you think that Lbf is for Liebe freund? it makes sense but I thought that Heimberg goes for a town, and what mean sl? regards

The 'sl' is for 'seine lieber', 'his dear friend' and I wonder if the Lbf. is some form of rank within the Student fraternity?
