I'm selling a few things to get some cash. I don't know what these miniatures go for. It is a 2nd Luft miniature, the grip looks like leather, the pommel is a little rusted for some reason. The blade is mint. The eagle has nice detail (more detail than my real 2nd Luft).

The blade is inscribed "Friedrich Prfusse K.G. Braunschwig 1884 (50) 1934"

Length of entire miniature dagger = 9.5 inches.
Length of blade = 6 inches.

Spacey,

My immediate problem with this miniature is that the blade celebrates 100 years of operation for the company in 1934. The 2nd Model Luftwaffe daggger was not adopted until circa 1937 some three years after the date etched on the blade. Also, the leather grip is from a 1st Model Luftwaffe dagger adopted in 1934. The miniature appears to be made with mixed parts.

Ok, I thought that was a little strange too. The blade looks great, while the grip is very worn. I guess it could function as a letter opener.
