Andy,

Correct me if I am wrong, but is this not an original late war mini that Vern presented me with for one of the raffle prizes last year. I have this on the For Sale Forum and I am getting several questions about authenticity.

Looks pretty close to the same to me. I guess they are giving away post war stuff as consolation prizes.

Vern where are you when we need you? Frown I have it on hold for Dion, but I just told him he could have it as a gift. It is getting close to Christmas and after all Christmas is about giving.

As long as you're in the "giving mood", I'll take the VOOS Army (as a gift).

I remember not to long ago you could get an answer from a moderator in at least a day or two. Vern is bound to be around somewhere. He could shed some light on this mini. After all it was a prize in the raffle.

Sorry guys, I totally missed this post. The mini came from Craig as an original piece, not post war assembled and was purchased for the raffle. There are a number of post war repros and parts pieces that copy this style, but my understanding is it's original.
