Tonight I was looking for reference material about Goering, and ran across this link here about his sword. I figured that everyone may want to take a look at this.

John, first of all, what has this sword got to do with SS daggers? Secondly, unless you are a member of the site where this sword is, and logged in, you can't view it.

What is wrong with looking at different forums ? Are the forums not for learning ? Funny thing happened to me last night. Only 15 minutes after I posted this link, I have a personal email in account box here at germandaggers.com . I go to open it and BAM ! I get 10 Trojan horses viruses. Took me 4 hours to take off from my computer. The personal email that was sent to my account is no more there. Why would you do this to me ? From what I read on the other site about this sword, I have a VERY good clue whom did this to me. It was CG. Not surprising since he still runs this site " behind " the sceens. I now wish to see how long my post will stay up.

John,
I think what Thule meant was that this particular part of the forum is for SS-daggers, and it would have been better if you posted this in the German Sword-part here.

Nothing wrong with looking at all kinds of forums, it is just so annoying one has to register everywhere... Roll Eyes

Cheers,

Hi John,
Would you mind posting this on the sword forum along with some pictures of the sword so we can have a look. Sounds interesting and we all love damascus blades!
Vern and Dave have a hard and thankless job and are very much appreciated by me for the great service they bring to us members. As well as all the very knowledgeable moderators and members that supply us with our unquenchable thirst for that wealth of knowledge they share so freely with us which helps us all grow tremendously in this hobby. Maybe if you address this email issue with Dave and Vern. I would think that Vern and Dave would not tolerate this type of dangerous behavior, especially anyone with an account in which to abuse their status and privilege with by sending a virus to other members and possibly crashing this highly respected site. I would go through withdraws if that was to happen! Therefore, if true the individual(s) acting in this manner should be expelled from this site IMO. There was a problem a few years ago with a member acting in this manner which caused big problems. I say to all, protect this valuable site with its vast store of knowledge at all costs against those that wish it and us harm. Smile
