Nicely marked Tripoli Libya ring- garrison HQ of the German afrikakorps. Very unique piece, very early- likely a 41. I would guess an officer too as he has already been married long enough to have 2 kids! He had this small photo of them put under what appears to be colored glass on the cartouche as a memory of home. Wonder if he ever made it back?

In the nineties , a seller had a box full of left over rings. They never left the shop, still in the store box.
This ring is semi- personalized, because the soldier, in the fourties, could only choose between a few fotos of ladies.

The seller offered me also to choose a lady. I selected the less ugly laugh
