Hello, I am no specialist for these but for me it looks like a "Studentenschl?ger" = a students rapier for their student corps competitions, in which they (eg. Otto Skorzeny) got the prominent scars in their faces. The typical signs are the wide basket, the color within the basket and the inscription.
