Just my opinion.
This is nice work but personally I prefer the ring in silver. The silver with black burnishing has better eye appeal than gold. The ring in silver/black more relates to the insignia color than gold. I know that you aren't trying to trying to duplicate insignia matching though. Hope all that makes sense.

And I saw here, in other topic repro of ugly sshr in gold and decided to show my work )))

I am not a ring guy, just my 2 cents.
With all the original rings we see, and all the repo rings we see, it's nice to see something a little different every now and then.
Yes , the silver and black contrast themselves better as original, BUT, the gold looks GREAT with the eyes.
I know repo and put together daggers are looked down on, but repo rings are taken in with joy and love, I don't know.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all, and just a few weeks till the SOS.

may i give every body my two cents here first off in my honest opinion i feel our friend Evgenily did a very nicely put together gold ss honor ring his workmanship really shows great detail and especially the diamond eyes really sets the skull off like member ron says his opinion looks better in dark barnising silver i have to agree especially around the runics but this excellant copy ring is for the advanced collector who has it all but a nicely done ss honor ring in gold especially when he shows his girl friend who will buy it for him maybe fore christmas or his birthday its only money guys and a fact all of us rich guys here can afford what we want to buy this is why we have lay a way plan to buy as long as we have two hands to work for more money believe me please take note life is short we only live once so enjoy what the hobby has to give i have seen a few ss honor rings made in gold and in my opinion Evgenlys copy ring in gold is the best i have seen in detail thumbs up to Evgenly great job ps i will be at the sos show in a few weeks with a few ss honor rings from ww2 in silver certified by the ring expert don boyle so if your at the show please look me up andrew legere i am in the book and i have a lay away plan easy payments to make you guys happy god bless all see you at the show god bless andy militarynut

That said, so far Evgeniy '30 repro is the best one available on the market IMO.

hello ric from italy good guy meine friend hope you had enough magnification of these ss honor rings my lord your friend over there turned xrays big microscopes and what ever in to a circus sure glad thats over with we all got nothing out of it all but any way as far as Evgeniy and his stuning ss honor ring in gold i have to agree with most here that Evgeniys work is great the gold ss honor ring i feel he will sell a few to the person with money that likes to go to dinner partys to be noticed by his guests most of us prefer the original silver ones congrats Evgeniy on your surperb wormanship god bless guys thaks for all your opinions andy militarynut
