Hi All, Nothing special just a late production Army dagger that I have had for a while now but thought I would put it up to show a typical example that I think is in pretty good condition, the photos don't really do it justice but give a pretty good idea of it. It has an unmarked blade with most of it's crossgrain still intact no rust or pitting and only light runner marks, the fittings are all generic the crossguard being the type A all finished in a dull grey that has worn to the alloy base metal in a few places. The white/cream grip is a late type plaster filled celluloid shell with no cracks or damage and shows a slight remnant of the seam down both sides from the moulding process that was typically not completely removed on these late grips. The ferrule is magnetic and rusted a bit. The scabbard I believe is also a generic type but has lovely sharp details to the zinc based bands the body and rings are steel with grey finish. The portepee is original to the dagger. It wasn't expensive and is a fairly common type but it's one of my favourites and I have seen some real bad examples of late production ones so this one appealed to me. Hope you like it. Regards, Andy.

Some more photos. You can see the mould seam traces on the side of the grip in the last photo.
