Do all SS daggers come with a serial number? If not is it a fake? Thx

Most SS daggers did not have an SS number. The number was normally only applied to the Roehm Inscription daggers, though a few other SS daggers did have their owner's SS number stamped or scratched for identification purposes

Vern,
I have the opportunity to purchase a decent used untouched ss dagger Boker etc with and enlisted mans research is this something easy to get or worth the extra cash for blade?

Value can also be affected if the SS number can be researched. If it can, what can be found out about the SS Mann becomes important too. Photos of the original owner and record of wartime service in combat can be especially desirable. RossK www.ssdaggers.com
