Dear all,
Who can help me on a nice close-up of a Friedrich Pl?cker mark on a SA dagger? Did they also made HJ knives? It's for an new article about paper dagger tags. The article about metal dagger tags is ready and will probably be published in the IMC magazine within a few months.
Kind regards, Wim

Many tags turn up for sale on the internet. A plucker tag sold in the last month.. (not on a dagger but on tableware item..) Many tag collectors use these tags as original tags on edged weapons.. Again, Many tag collectors buy there tags this way... Most are not period tags 30s 40s ... The way to document this is by period documents... Pictures etc.... Not by matching trademarks styles. Be very careful with what you write... As collecting tags is one thing.. Collecting tags that were used on period German swords and daggers is another.. Regards: James
