got a room all set,,,the table ready,, the desire... But it depends if I can find a rideshare partner.. Only about a 4 to 5 hr drive. but because of certain health issues I can't do it in one shot myself anymore.. It always comes down to the last hour before its time to leave for me literally!

For any of the new members reading this.. Do whatever you can ,,beg ,,borrow,, steal the time to go.. Other than the SOS show there is nothing like it here in the USA. Better than most museums combined. Everything you can imagine is there, even the variants! wink

Where else can you get to see the things your interested in and then ask to handle them! or check them with your loop!. Compare them to others maybe just a table away from you! You will meet a lot of great people. see a lot of fine items and generally have a great time... Do what you've got to do to make it there ,,,,but GO!!!

Coming from a country, Canada, that is now being treated as a national security threat by your administration, I no longer feel welcome.

John,,I like you and have a lot of respect for you.. I don't agree with everything this administration is doing.. But some tightening up was needed.
.
It's great to let everyone in the more the merrier,,but illegals? sorry but no way. There are thousands that filled out forms and are going thru the correct process.. It's just not fair to them and their families that are doing everything the correct way.

But anyway,,its not personal,,its business as one of my Uncles like to say!

How about this,,,I formally invite you as a colleague, friend and all around good guy to enter and attend the show!
[I know you weren't going anyway, but never let politics keep you from anything!] Be great to meet you for a drink one day there.. Hope you can one day make it happen. ...,G.

Distance is not my problem! My back/leg issues prevent me from doing a lot. The round trip to the VA (90 miles) is painfully long!

Tanker
I am assuming the TN is Tennessee. That close, still a drive, I'd go to the SOS in Louisville, Ky. A larger show, and will work with what you need to get around. Thousands of tables, awsome show.
I was in Armor at Fort Knox in 68. Not sure if that relates to your Tanker. Did a tour in Korea, and the last months at camp Pickett, Va.
I can relate to the leg problems, a real drag.
Take care, and thanks

Yes, Tennessee is correct. Actually, I was AF and retired in97.
Without getting too involved in my ailments. The 2 fractured and fused disk are the painful ones. Getting ready for knee surgery in November. After the drive, I doubt I would be able to move around.
