I am very new to this and I appreciate all help so thank you in advance. Posted this buy today on the SA forum as well as I have questions on both of these. I know the Luftwaffe looks like a Frankenstein and I had to buy as a package. Apparently its a Horster (Solingen) stamped and my question is would the scabbard have two screws typically? I know the handle is probably from ? I wonder what it is actually is from and did they ever have a smooth grip as an option ?. Apparently the older owner I spoke with bought them in Germany when her husband was stationed there from an antique store some 30 years ago. I did not want to pick it apart in respect to her as he has passed and she is moving his old items now. Any opinions will be appreciated and I will take some pictures when I receive it.
