Thanks for letting me in!
Need opinions when it comes to this bayonett.... Real or fake....
Got it many years ago from an old man so no money involved so to speak...
If it is a fake, it is a pity that someone have destroyed a nice bayonet.
I really appreciate any opinions at all....

That SS stamp definitely looks post-1945.

Agreed, it's postwar with another period bayonet wrecked by fake added markings. Best Regards, Fred

S84/98 as You could see was sharpened on blade, and later reblued, as normally should be not sharpened, 43 cvl from WKC, grips were originally wood, frog is probably austrian, SS in circle is a fake stamp. b.r.Andy
