Any help on originality and ball park pricing are welcome, local piece opportunity and I have not visited in person as of yet. Only concerns I have are etched CE and do all visible parts seem original to piece. thanks in advance.

Dev,
you might have missed the Code of Conduct where it says that you use a dealer (or another person's) photos you must say whose they are.

IMO from these photos looks like part dagger. Crossguard looks like generic type A, as dagger ferrule and pommel. (All cleaned.) Blade is Carl Eickhorn Solingen product (Produced between 1936 - 1939 period.), and scabbard (Also cleaned.), is generic type B. Schlange https://mojalbum.com/schlange88 http://phpstack-500133-1583587.cloudwaysapps.com/~germand2/ubbthreads.php/topics/336937/1.html

The images are from public posted forum which I understand you relinquish all rights too to use the service in the sale of goods or as you do in this country anyway. I will read your code of conduct and better inform myself of the code of conduct rules.

This item from a large estate sale and all from what seems a very wealthy family. Some of the other items are incredible like a lock box from Germany around 1600's which is mind blowing. Several daggers and swords, gold etc. If a parts dagger then I guess it was picked up when leaving Germany and just put together without their knowledge at that time. The other daggers and swords look mint and original but, highly priced and this one caught my eye.

Dev,
Let me repeat what I said: You might have missed the Code of Conduct where it says that you use a dealer (or another person's) photos you must say whose they are.
The relevant part in our rules says: "Any photograph from other sites posted must be attributed."
