It looks to be real 14k gold from the looks of it, so I would think it be real. It would be an expensive ring to make if it was fake. Have you tested the gold content?

Nice looking piece in any case
Patriotic period jewelry I believe often had marcasite stones
Odal will know for sure but that looks like a nice gold band too
My vote is I hope good because that is stunning
Congrats Paul

hi paul
this is my opinion on your political style ring appears to be close to 14kt american gold but european marked 585 most war time was marked 333 called low gold and remember please hitler made several speaches that gold was for the judens jews . it also appears to be made in or around the 1950s yes expensive to make you could search the jewelers and see perhaps they might still be in bussiness but defenitly not third reich very well made ring the stones from the photo appear to be small minor cut stones not marcasite stones and i believe there are three possibly four missing but still a very nice example plus original box hope this information has helped you god bless andy militarynut

Paul,, it is properly content marked for European gold. I'm pretty sure those are not diamonds but any jeweler will be able to tell you in a couple min inspection.

Now,,how old is it.. Well it is commercially made for retail ring. And, it is meant to imitate a 'Split Band' type ring band which could date it to 1920s / 1930s..

Your best bet is to do a search on the jeweler and the hotel and hopefully you will see evidence they were around 1920s to 40s...

It's a very nice ring..
