Interesting runics - swastika indicates 3rd Reich and not just pre-war runics - trying to research it now.

that is a very well made piece. And, a box specifically for it. Something a jeweler would be proud of... Any hallmarks?, maker? content? etc.

Runes are usually a kind of letters and all what i try to translate makes no sense in german.
You have a idea?
Maybe unit emblems?
Is the bracelett hallmarked?

Good questions Odal, I was hoping German could translate, but it just seems to be runics or perhaps unit shields like ss divisions used but they didnt have all these exact same runes. No hallmarks anywhere to be found unfortunately.
Anyone else have Nordic silver bracelets?

thats kind of what my post was about... Usually a really nice piece , expensive fir the time etc. a jeweler would want his name on it! And, even cheapish rings sometimes had a content. Unusual such a fine piece this has nothing,,be careful Lore....

I have no problem with this piece even with no marks - looks like it may be alpacca and not silver but I have not tested it yet. The bracelet is obviously handarbeit and has a lot of age to it. It was actually used and has evidence of repair over the years with a re-solder on at least one link, shown in the photo. I looked under a loop at the fastener / catch and there may have been a maker mark but it could have worn off, my eyes start playing tricks on me after a while but there may be a faint mark there too. Not sure. But, I think the bracelet is quite old and was actually used.
Also, I found one just like it on-line. Could be the same one, not sure.

found another example of a runic motif bracelet on-line. No maker marks but it does have a tag indicating handarbeit. Also of cheap wartime metal, maybe brass.

after looking with a loop some more, it looks like there was once a mark on the clasp but it was scratched off - there is still a slight circle image though

yeah that 2nd one is real nice...
2 things,,, if you think alpacca just wear it for a day,,you will get some black marks.. Even low grade silver will leave marks on you..
2,, those marks on the background of each rune. That would be extremely hard to do with a die. It would have been hand dapped after each piece was struck/pressed. Maybe try a experienced jeweler and he could tell you if hand done or they were cast..

Those are the Nazi/SS interpretations of runes. There are several real rune set from the Scandinavian countries if you check the internet
