Hey guys, here is recent addition to my collection. Its an early, all nickel, type II chain. It also has almost all crossgrain remaing! I had Ross check the number out and its not researchable at the moment. I hope to one day to have it identified!! Anyway here are some pics. Thank you for looking!!

Now that an excellent example with the "been there done that" look about it. Wonder how it ended up with the "British"? stamp on the scabbard?

I have no idea how the stamp got there?? I think it gives it a little character or mystery as to where all it has been??

Well, I can tell you that the postage stamp on the scabbard is roughly correct for the period - being the image of George VI who reigned from 1937 - 1953, although what circumstance permitted the stamp to adhere to the dagger is something that I suspect we will never know.
It would appear that somewhere along its' life, this dagger has been in the possession of a Brit - or a foolhardy stamp collector! Such are the mysteries of this hobby!

This dagger came out of Canada.. This was part of the first collection I had when I was in University. Sold it locally in 1988, so it has got around some!
