Here is one final ring I am considering. Thank you for all the help in my quest to find an original skull ring. This one I am hoping will be easy to judge. It is a panzer pattern stamped 835.

Not sure in this one.
Skull should be hollow and if i remember right i have still seen a discussion about exact this ring.
Rather unique piece with this hole in the bone.

I would ask Hapur: he's an expert ring maker and very good at recognizing cast fakes...

I did a search through 20 pages with the words panzer ring to no avail. If anyone ever comes across it please let me know.

Does not seems to be hollow skull. From these pics I would say it is solid cast ring.

Hello hapur,
How about this hole? Skull looks hollow inside. Some time ago I had one the same ring only in worn condition with holes on each side on the same places.

Does not seems to be hollow skull. From these pics I would say it is solid cast ring. My opinion too. Ring is still discussed in warrelics. Introduced as dug piece. And forgot.
After looking on a good ring .... the crosshatching between flower and leaf is different to the known originals and i don`t think there are different dies made.

Good point, I've just examined my ring and hatchwork looks different - thinner. Interesting that holes is typycal for worn originals too. Thanks for nice point and opinion

it hole was made frome original rings, where too was hole
it ring must seam around skull and bones
but yours does not have it
