Can someone give me some information on this sword.I believe it is French. ? Branch of service? Also the value?
Maker marked under the crossguard on both sides of the blade. Thanks,

Looks like a Saxon coat of arms to me. Certainly pre WW1. Maybe early to mid 1800's No idea on value but at least as much as a 3rd reich piece. Nice condition too. Barry.
