Wotan,,or anyone else that can,, What is the first document for?
HR document prices have gone all over the place the last few years. From super high to really low. I've been asking around for prices.. Well if you have a early document, in great condition, and it is to either a man with a good combat record or a 'known' personality you have the 'top of the line ring doc.. A later doc,,good condition, to a run of the mill man like a paper pusher will bring the lower end of the range..
From asking around the range seems to be from $2000. to $7000., $8000.

Hello, yes, a promotion doc (to 2nd lieutenant). Signature is from Heydrich but not original (signature is a stamp). Regards,

Please donīt be upset without reason. Itīs a simple misunderstanding. Both docs are original docs of the period. The signature of Heydrich is not an original (not real hand signed in person) one but stamped, the signature of HH is an original (really, personally hand signed) one. Naturally it is a difference (for collectors) if a signature is hand written by the person itself or stamped by whomsoever. For the promoted person at these times it didnīt make any difference. The "worth" of a honor ring does not come from the H signature engraved (NOT stamped) but from the rareness of these rings, the myth of the rings and often the person of the wearer. Just my personal view. Regards,

I am with wotan, both docs seems to be original but the signature on the promotion doc is a faksmile signature, the other one of Himmler looks hand signed from what i can see. In my personal opinion, the sshr doc will be worth between 2000 and 2500 in this condition(looked for Everding, but found nothing Special about him), the promotion doc i would say between 150 and 200
But like i said, thats only my personal opinion.
Regards Christian
