Hello everyone: Just a quick question i was just curious to the people who actually wear a honour ring daily or often ( I am naturally talking about a reproduction Honour ring )has a stranger, or anyone actually noticed the repro Honour ring and knew what it was without being told

i recently spent 4 months in Hamburg Frankfurt and the Buren district of Germany and stupid of me or not at the time I didn t realize how serious it was in Germany to display such third reich era items with the Haken Kreutz etc and I wore my repro for a couple of weeks before I smartened up and took it off and put it away and not one person old or young made any comment on it at all

Personally I like ring s and wear a couple of my unique nice one s all the time and i had people comment on them so i know they noticed the repro and on mine the Swastika is worn away a lot and i would turn the ring to hide it when asked about any of my rings but no one in Germany of any age ever noticed it or had the faintest idea what it was, just curious if anyone who wears one has ever had it reconized

also on the same note I always look at any rings people wear the rings people choose to wear I think tells a little about them and I have never ever seen any stranger i come by wearing one except for pictures on this forum of poster s who wear one and is caught in the picture they put up on their discussion,

I am sorry if this post is off topic a bit but i was just curious, myself i have been interested in ww2 for many years and studied it a great deal and up until i came across this forum i didn t even know they existed or what they were for

I know Don Boyle wears one but I think it would be tough to wear one in an office setting.

Wearing of the SS Totenkopfring is appropriate in ANY setting, formal and informal. If your boss has a serial number on his arm, I'd pass, but otherwise, you'll probably be OK.

I would never consider wearing one. I teach in a public school and that would be just plain STUPID!!!!!!!!

Bruce, I take spells of wearing my "Pfister" HR copy,
it fits my "middle" finger perfectly, size 11.
No one EVER notices it.
I just appreciate a good looking skull ring.
Nothing deep or subliminal.
