Your KS98 etch looks like a proper Klaas etching template to me from the photographs.

Vigs, nice example of a common etch. A good rule of thumb if you ever come across a Klass or Puma etch, 99 times out of 100 there should be somewhere in the etch the words Ges. Gesch. translation, "Patent Protected". Yours is presented in the upper right hand corner of the etch. Just something I look for when inspecting etched pieces produced by these firms. Best wishes,
