Group , I think most know that the history of the Olympics and Nuremberg Rally Knives is questionable by many. One of my Nuremberg Rally knives paper bags is torn and ripped .I am sending this bag for testing at the University of Georgia. They cannot do a C 14 test on it being 20th century but can tell if the trees used for producing the paper was alive after nuclear weapons testing began. And if the ink was made from living plants it will show this too. This bag and my others have passed the UV test. In the late 40s and early 50s companies began adding brighteners to paper . Paper with brighteners glow under UV light. For some this test and the lab's testing if passed will not mean anything. Some will say they used 1930s paper and ink for making these bags at a later date . I hope to find one of these knives with a broken stag horn grip so I can send a grip plate in for testing. If anyone knows where one with a broken grip plate can be purchased please let me know. I will keep this site updated on this test. I will be sending the bag off next week. Lab states to expect results in about 3 weeks. Regards , Rattler

If you can't find a stag gripped version, not uncommon with some 4th Reich items are variants, so there are also the simulated stag wood gripped types that can be found with bags. Best Regards, Fred
