Hey guys, I got this group awhile back. Purple heart,bronze star, CIB, some french medal, a buch of paperwork with some pics, an Ike jacket, and a few other modern medals. Whats is something like this worth?

Hi Lar, A lot of the value depends on what unit the guy was with and where he saw action.
Also in 1947 they gave everyone that had earned a CIB in WW2 a bronze star. These are referred to as "conversion" bronze stars. Value wise they aren't worth as much as if the guy had gotten one for a specific action.
But having uniform, medals, paperwork and photos REALLY helps this group, as it is hard to get any research done on US guys.
Look and see of there are any "general Orders" in there that may list what he did to get his awards. Also if there is any unit info or post a close up of the photo.
But with the documentation value is more than just a "sum of the parts".
