Im so happy because I found new baby to my collection. It is not mint I rather say in after battle condition but i think it is originall. There is no etching and maker mark on the blade.I bought it without ring in the middle fitting , now is after reparing, rest is without intervention .I think i will leave it as it without any additional process. What is Your opinion?

Hi Ted, The scabbard looks original even missing the mouth. Normally the design of the oak leaves on the scabbard and dagger are more similar to each other. These appear different. But, if this is a small maker, then perhaps he ordered parts from different vendors. What do you think of the grip color and material? Jim

the discoloration of the handle is proper in my opinion dagger looks good.Of course the fittings are not good as Borowski dagger but evrything is fine. What is interesting in this dagger , the direction of the leaves in upper fitting is opposite to middle and bottom .But in some of my Borowskis look the same in others are all in one direction.

Are you going to restore it. I think it is a good candidate and would look beautiful.
