I've had this Luftwaffe 2nd Model Dress Dagger for 20+ years. When comparing it to others online or eBay, I noticed it does not have any factory engraved marks on the base of the blade. Some I've seen do, others don't. Does the fact it has no markings mean it's a reproduction? Or did Germany produce daggers without markings? Please let me know, thank you. Sorry I can't add photos, the file limits of this site are too small.

Many 2nd. model Luft daggers have NO maker or other markings on the blade. So no markings does not mean it is a fake. Charlie
