I remember watching this as a kid, say in the mid/late 1970's. I think it was one of those "made for TV" type movies.

Plot was simple - A P-40 [I think]or a Spitfire, some allied craft, was strafing a lone German tank in the desert. Tank managed to shoot the aircraft down but it didn't crash, made a forced landing in the desert.
Couldn't fly but could still taxi, so this tank was chasing this airplane around the desert. Don't really remember the end, I remember there was some large gully coming up and it seemed the tank would finally blow up the airplane, but things took an unexpected turn.

Anyone remember the name of this ?
