Found this yesterday, about an hour from my house. Well cared for since the 101st Airborne Veteran brought them back. Paid a hefty price, but am happy I did. Got his named M42 Paratrooper Jacket as well, with patches on both shoulders, and a photo of him wearing it during the war. There was also a bag of insignia and medals, not pictured.

Yes, I will eventually get it all photographed and begin the selling process. Except the M42 paratrooper jacket - I'm going to keep that one, since I know it's 100% legit (very hard to find a good one).

Craig,
Well done. Really nice score. Will be curious to see what badges and medals came with the lot.

Did you score this haul in Temecula/S. Riverside County?

Tom

Nice haul. And yes, a fair price for this stuff would equal the value of a car. Is the Luftwaffe sword SMF? I so I may want it.
