Many, many nice items to see. The watch fob is a stand out. The miniature hunting dagger is interesting. The fancy medal is I assume a shooting award.

Andy,
Great collection! I am also glad to hear you will attend the next Max and SOS. At one point it sounded like you were going to retire from the shows. If it helps, I would even help you unload, just call:)!
Best Wishes,
Bob

Wow, some real great stuff!

This 3 colored swas-pendants...
I am to nearly 100 % sure they are german made by the Jacob Bengel Company in Oberstein.
I have a similar complete necklace that i found it was made by Bengel. They produced pre 33 a large swastika collection out of Galalith. This pnedants are typical pieces.
Nice and rather rare.

hi odel
danka i believe your right jakob bengel galalith did make art deco baklite jewelry back then in the 1930s . i dont know why i was under the impression it was american bund im sorry i thought it had sterling marks but i just checked it again no marks at all . im sure some of jakob galiliths jewelry in the 1930s came to america for german americans that wanted to surport der fuher and thier country . his movement was just as strong here in america the american fuhrer fritz kuhn rented madison square garden during this time in history and filled the hall with german americans in surport of hitler. ok odel many thanks for your expertise and help on this great piece of history and you are an asset to our great ring/jewelry forum gott mitt uns thanks andy militarynut

yeah that Italian ring has a famous religious shrine on it [barely seen on left]..It then has the other branches of Italian armed forces, flyers, infantry, Para troops and tank forces ,etc.. A very unique method of construction and a rare ring to find in any condition [this one which is in excellent condition].. A great WW2 Axis piece to have for a collection..

Theres some real stars in that ring collection for sure,, WW1 and WW2 patterns! The MAX / SOS guys are going to have some fun checking them out and buying them..

Sorry it took me a minute to reply to the Blackhawk question Andy. They didnt have much role in WW2 as they only saw about a month of combat. When I was in, I was in a Psyop unit attached the the 86th, so we wore the Blackhawk patch.

hi members
i found this africa grooping bought a few years back house sale dont know what the large round pin back represents has camel large palm tree and is made of brass . the campagn ring reads oran africa 1943 it is nickled on brass the medal is german/italian comradship nice africa grooping . now as dak41 mentioned about rings with european gold content marks like 575 european gold. i have had this very unusual iron cros pin back marked 585 and number 14 on the inside bottom of the cross i dont know why its marked 585 as it is not gold but solid brass no outher collector seems to know anything about this cross and its metal content. in my opinion this cross was for sea duty as brass does not rust when i tell people this is a very rare version of the iron cross pin back and naval crosses are rare . maybe some one here would know more about this cross .hope you guys enjoy this grooping last check my web site www.militarynut.com to see a very nice ss honor ring god bless andy militarynut

that is a weird group!
The medal/badge guys can tell you about that Iron Cross.. The DAK medal looks like an early one, nice!
The Oran rings were usually for the Brits/Allies..
The dog tag is for an Italian!
The pin looks interesting,,any marks on back?
