Name the maker and give a reason why it is that particular maker.

OK, I'll bite. I'd say the maker is Clemen & Jung & the reason is the specific design on the clamshell. I'm guessing because it doesn't look like my Alcoso Rifle Association dagger

Gary I think the clue is in the ferrule, and without Billy's idea I would have said Horster, so now I'm also going Clement & Jung?

1 out of 2 Close again but no cigar for you either, look very closely at this picture.
All the information is there.

You got it Paul
Billy you were really close.

This is the first I have ever seen with a metal scabbard, I had heard that they did them, I do have a couple of forestry's that have the same type of scabbard just with different style fittings. The grip has no damage as many of these do tend to crack, the blade rates very nice as well. Paint is all original on the scabbard and is just about 100% with just a little spidering.

This is the moment in which I again do learn a substancial new fact. Yes CuJ did some remarkable oddities but always in high quality. Baz69 thank you for giving us this interesting lesson, for showing this extremely rare dagger and congratulations to this find!
