Gents, I got an HJ knife last week. Not my usual area of collecting, but the price was right, the condition is very good and and it matches an SS maker I have.

Looking inside you can see a cloth (??) cover on the runners. I suppose that is standard but does not last long

That's a real beauty Dave, nice one. No one has yet determined what the 'LFS' stamp stands for but it is seen on many HJ hangers. It's been well looked after, the cotton on the runners seem in good condition as well. Great transitional example.

Very nice ! Looks like the one my dad brought back from WW2. He "found" it in a drawer in a house. Most likely that is where the HJ member left it when he left home for the army !

For completeness Dave you should post these pics in the thread about HJ knives with RZM codes on the obverse of the blade as Hammesfahr wasnt mentioned.
