All from the show, most on the first two days, this is not a show for snoozing.

Ivory army by Eickhorn, Aluminium army by Henckles, Glass army is unmarked, White Holler Navy, Orange WKC Navy both with sailing ship etches.

I saw the ivory Eickhorn army ... the grip was cracked so I suggested to Gary that he should ditch it and that I would be happy to take it off his hands.

Notice that he still has it.

Gary superb show you had. The ivory Eickhorn is a real top shelf piece for your collection. I enjoyed the show and getting to visit with all the dagger guys.

Gary,

Looks like your trip to the SOS was very worthwhile, you must've been busy as a one-armed paperhanger !! grin

You really found some truly exceptional examples to bring home with you, and thanks for posting them.

Best!

Yeah, Gary was like a dagger-seeking missile out there. He scored all of his great items in the first 24 hours of the show.

I only came home with 3 items this time (plus two gifts for my long suffering wife), a short imitaiton stag gripped 42 over shoulder Eick dress bayonet, a long single etched neutral motif Pack bayonet and a Westland SS cufftitle.

seldom. Two-paws squirrel. My bayonet is personalized too.

Oleg:

I have gone through my Eickhorns and noted that the two arm 42 squirrel mark appears on police, dress bayonets and on a forestry dagger. The one arm TM appears on all other daggers, Luft2s, Heers, Kreigsmarines, NPEA, HJ knives.

Interesting fact, isn't it. Your etched bayonet conforms with this.

While I didn’t come home with a Heer I still had a great time. I did just add a Heer to my collection that’s in transit as I actually came home with some money in my pocket grin Saw some great daggers of various models that were bought at the show. Gary’s Ivory army was the best Heer at the show I saw beautiful find.
