This must be David Copperfields dagger...he has the "D' Ring mysteriously connected to the Scabbard carrying ring.

I picked this daggger up at a gun show last weekend as is. I cannot find another one made by Henkel & Muller on the internet for sale. I was just wondering how rare this maker of SA daggers was. I thank you in advance for your help. The A202 was on list of SA daggers next to Henkel & Muller dagger name.

Yes Larry I noticed that too.
Not really too hard, just open up the d-ring and reclose it. Besides, I never could figure how these guys were comfortable carrying these things around with the dagger down around their knees!! grin
Went to one of Craig's parties several years ago wearing a 55cm DLV. It hung so low I nearly tripped a few times... at least that's story and I'm stickin' to it!! smile
I would have been a vertical hanger guy myself.

I want to thank all you guys for sharing your knowledge of the SA daggers with me. How common is a Henkel & Muller made SA dagger? I cannot find one on the internet.

It rates 8 on the McSarr list so it's a common maker for SA daggers.

Panzerfaust, a dagger that rates "8" on the McSarr list is NOT a common maker. The list runs from "1" [most common] to "10" [rarest]. To quote Mr McAlvanah, "All of the makers in catagories 8,9, and 10 are RARE, just to varying degreees." Regards, Leipzig

The A202 would appear to be an excel cell reference. I am guessing Dave used and Excel work sheet to set this up then transferred it.

Just speculating.

Dave, it was on your post. do you know what A202 stands for.
