Here is another one I picked up recently, Slant Eick that shows a lot of carrying time. Nice hand work and a great translucent looking grip that is the typical very slim, straight Eick slant grip. All brass based including the scabbard. Enjoy, and comments are welcome. Kevin.

I do appreciate your PACK but this most early EICKHORN is even better as there does nothing go over a Quality slant grip.
Wonderful dagger!

Thanks again Wotan, this dagger shows a lot more wear than the Pack.. but as you say, it has a killer glossy grip and patina!

Another top shelf example. Textbook early Eickhorn with beautiful condition and patina. Love the Eickhorn Type-1 guard. As you said this is certainly the earliest configuration you will find on an Eickhorn. I really find these early Eickhorn scabbard bands very pleasing.

Thanks again Tom. You should know a bit about these, you have owned more examples than anyone I know! Kevin.
