Hi Guys, It has been a while. A house construction etc.. that made me reduce the number of pieces (from almost 150 pieces to 50 selected ones) to get some $$$ out. Now doing a further reorganisation in my collection I would like to ask your advice on this one. The frog is unfortunately torn and some of the plating has gone off yet the dagger seams in overal good condition and as the matching number. Also I took the grips apart to find a squirrel logo inside:) Any opinions? Is it 100% genuine piece?

I have never looked inside the grips of my TeNo hewer, but may carefully do so today to check out the Eickhorn TM.

Does anyone know if these squirrels on the inside grips remained the same throughout the period, or if like the trademark on the blade, they changed?

Arminius, I think your question is obsolete because TN hewers do only come with one (35-41) trademark (at least I have never seen nor heard of one with another trademark).

Well my question is answered now. Only one trade mark was ever used. Thanks.
