Hi Guys
This is a tough one. I really don't know if it's an original. It looks right, a late Assmann chain perhaps? But the stamp on the snap? Chain links are a bit thicker than on my other NSKK. All magnetic though, except for the 4 connector rings. The bottom fitting on the scabbard is non magnetic, but plated...
Does anyone know this combination, or is it postwar?
Regards Henrik

HenrikKH, I think I have seen this one already elwhere in the net. Especially the upper clip, with several(!) features, is a "no no" for me. It is interesting that the chain is magnetic but nevertheless the whole rig does looks suspicious to me. Regards,

Regards, I'm sure if he reached out to any of the experienced guys here we would have helped him out. Someone here who knows him would you please tell him that this type of NSKK chain is known as the 'No Umlaut' fake.
