Hello Jan,
I must have missed this post...
This is a very rare version of the HJ-knife.
So far I have only seen a few RZM marked blades with no ricasso. The less uncommon is the Anton Wingen Jr (RZM M7/51) 1936 knife.
This is the first time that I see your version: but it is 100% correct. Congratulations and thx for showing it!
Herman

Here is a better view on the markings of that very rare HJ-knife.
Best regards,

Impressive find Gents. Early of the early RZM type. This also helps solidify the dated SS daggers we see 120/34 and 121/34. Great stuFF ! Regards Larry

Wow, never seen this ones before, looking at the date indeed early rzm period. Did you find a diamond for it already?

That is a most interesting Mark on that HJ blade. I had an SA dagger with that maker and now I will go through my collection to see if I still have it! Thanks for showing that one.

I got the small daimond but I think I`ll not glue the daimond in the grip. Is there a manner to do it in a proper way?

Jan, proper way cannot to done now i,m afraid ! imagine trying to drill out those rivets without damaging the griplates ?, to tricky & you will waste the knife, leave it as it is imo, this was my point on the solid red diamonds that are fitted correctly with movement or wiggle that have unmessed with rivets, cant be done properly unless the diamonds were fitted during the period in the factory.
