Just recently added this piece to my Schutzen collection. I would put it somewhere around 1880 or maybe someone can tell me different. Buttons have the crossed rifles and SCHUTZEN GESELLSCHAFT. Hope you enjoy. James

James, Great looking jacket! If you get a chance would you please post some closer views of the embroidered oak leaf collar designs? A very nice addition to your collection, congratulations! Bill

Very nice looking! Always amazed at how items such as this frock remained in fine condition!
Thanks for sharing!

Per request for buttons and collar. Notice the hanger Motel Moosleitner. Nice hotel on the Austrian border that i used to hang out in. James

Nice James. The Coat of Arms from the club is neat. Probably from the town as well, a combination of the two? Thanks.

James,
Thanks for the additional snaps. The quality of this bullion embroidery is superb. It always reminds me of the top-notch work on high-level political, SA and SS tabs. Very nice!
