Here is one I have been seeking for a very long time...and worth the wait. This dagger appears as a "9" on Iron Mikes McSaar list.
The crossgrain is mint down to the blade tip..with a very light runner mark. Hard to upgrade this elusive producer.
Ernst Witte is also known for producing RLB daggers. Regards Larry

Thanks Gents...I am happy to acquire this maker..and add it to my collection. The motto font was quite attractive..in style unlike what is normally seen. smile

Ironically Larry, Witte is best known for their RLB's. A unique trail they have on RLB's is the maker mark being very light!
Great score there, congrats!

Thanks again Gentlemen..also there appears to me what may be an earlier variant logo.. for sale currently on Tom Wittmanns site. IMO it has the same simple characteristics we see also ( in the art work ) also of the early 1st type Ernst Pack logo. Nothing fancy..just there. Correct me if I wrong..but I think..I may have the 2nd type logo...as it has a little more detail. Below is both examples. Regards Larry
