I just got a photo of a bayonet with a distributor etched spin. I have a couple, so I thought I would start a thread on them. Here is the first---the TM is Alcoso w/distributor William Gunther, Dresden etched on the blade spine.

Terry,
I only have one spine marked bayonet, a long model fire bayonet with the distributor Horst Wolff, Leipzig. Like yours, it is unmarked by maker but is an Eickhorn product. Yours also appears to be an Eick.
Horst Wolff is one of the more commonly seen distributors for fire bayonets, probably the most often seen distributor. From what I have observed, they only marked fire bayonets & I have never seen a makers mark on a Wolff marked bayonet. Thus far anyway.
