dagger is original...inscription is a recent application...lettering is very fat. Another good dagger to be thrown in the trash. Nicely done...but not good enough.

Larry nailed this one straight ollie. Listen to the people here. If you add the experience on some of us old timers you will find hundreds of years in the hobby (now that doesn't mean that we always all agree). However in your case, you need to find a new supplier. Drop these fakers where you been looking. You want a good dagger? look at Wittmann, Lakeside, and a couple of guys here we can recommend. No, they are not 'cheap' but you will get something real. -Serge

Serge! It may seem so! I do not buy fakes! We in Russia because of the low culture collectibles and small information! Many scams running at auctions! You are helping me his knowledge to disarm them! I'm writing at the auction that buyers would have been more careful! Thank you for your comment!
