Hi Folks, Here is a piece I just picked up out of the countryside of Maryland. The earliest vintage Luft first offered by Alcoso that I have seen as of yet. The thing that really grabbed me on this one is the uncleaned patina..very hard to capture with digital pics! There are so many iridescent colors, really something to see in hand! Some interesting points about this dagger are the blue felt buffer, not leather and the scabbard screws have heads, not flush screws indented into the fittings..... Enjoy the pictures and comment at will! Love to see your examples of Alcoso Luft 1st's too..Kevin.

Oleg, THANKS for posting your Alcoso luft! It may be a different era but it is interesting to compare the two. I see that the size of the maker mark was decreased some, the quality wasn't! Condition of your dagger is GREAT! Thanks..Kevin.

Yes a very nice blade Damast! Is there any extra imbellishments or extra attention to the rest of the dagger due to its special blade? Kevin.
