Know there was some problems a while ago, but was wondering if if Kingtiger is back or will be coming back.
Not trying to make waves or start anything negative but I miss his post on the forum.

Mark seems quite happy over at that "other forum" will probably see him at the SOS but after the way in which he was treated on this site I wouldn't expect to see him back anytime soon..Mark is a class act..cheers, Ryan

Mark is dearly missed and was always a great contributor to this forum.
I'm also looking forward to see him at the SOS show, always a great person to be around with. Wink

Hopefully everyone involved will let by gones be by gones.
Lifes too short and I feel everyone loses when a member like this is gone.
We all have our differences but we all have much in common too, right?

Gee, I haven`t been around much in a while & didn`t even know he had gone. Did he just go or was he pushed like the other long timers? Let me guess.... Hmmm

Guess I`m more of a fading away type than going out with a bang but the writing was on the wall a long ways back. Too bad really because this used to be THE FORUM for all german militaria & not just daggers.

Oh well, same old same old I suppose.

I`ll stick around while I still recognise a few handles of the guys I know but mostly I`m unfamiliar with the majority now.

Revolution is when you figure it out for yourself.

Times sure have changed that's for sure. It used to take me a few hours to scan all the post but now I can usually do it in under 30 minutes. Whatever happened it wasn't for the better. But what can you do but keep on trucking. I hardly post here anymore either, on the other forums it seem busier and less "PC". That's the prevailing will here so whatever. They had a good thing and I can't believe the leadership don't see the err in their ways which caused this dramatic decrease in traffic??

This forum has certainly declined rather dramatically since the few years I have been here ,,, No sense going into the reasons, a discussion like that might well thin out the membership a bit more.

But theres something to be said for forums with a high post count, and those with low.
High post count forums can get pretty frantic. Theres alot of info, sometimes too much, like an info overload.
Posts get buried in a matter of hours, and its too much but to just keep up with a few topics.

At a low posting forum like this, obviously those troubles aren't present.
No info overload, thats for sure ,, But it would be nice if things picked up just a bit, and I hope admin is thinking of ways that can be achieved.

Ahhh the other forum that shall not be mentioned, I couldn't believe that the moderators were so petty as to have it edited out, not like anyone doesn't know which one it is.

Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. And remember the early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Mark and I have been friends since the oncept of this hobby online. We have spent a lot of times together at shows and probably exchange far more information in private than in public and this is almost on a daily basis.
You measure an individual and a friend as to what they contribute and Mark is at the top as a contributor. I am proud to call him a friend and to state that he's a big asset to this hobby. Whether he'll come back her remains to be seen but I'll always consider him a good friend.

Mark always added a lot of experience and photos from his wonderful collection. Hope he comes back.
We need veteran guys in the hobby everywhere but especially here. Seems like we have lost a lot of late.
Perhaps management can get a recruitment drive going ...for the good of all. Wink

Does he know that he is missed here?
Is he welcome back by all? If so,would you ask him to start posting again.
I figured were all freinds here, right?

There's bound to be differences of opinions in this crazy hobby so lets get back to making progress.
