lanner, your pics are not the very best but in These pics I cannot see anything which would raise a red flag. The etched eagle is -as said- etched and there always could happen small defects which could cause small etching defects, eg. often the eagle´s eye is missing. And such a template defect also could have caused the flattened swaz. Nothing which would disturb me. Regards,

the serial number is 9183 and is etched on the blade and stamped on to the scabbard throat sorry about the pictures but my normal membership doesn't allow a bigger size I will try to make better pics and post them the next few days thank you wotan and barry Helmut

lanner, the certain picture size limitation is valid for ALL members. But with certain programs you can produce big pics with small size. Regards,

cannot compress the pics to less than 140 without getting them ridiculously small

Pics from lanner. I do not have the least doubt that it is an original TN hewer. Proper hanger Clip is attached, leather parts of the hanger missing. Regards,
