Gentlemen, what you think about that dagger.
It came to me from center of Russian. It was trophy, unfortunately dagger was cut eagle and have bad condition blade. But scabbard is very interesting. I think it original, period dagger with ordering scabbard.

den70, your dagger was already shown here at GD.C by member "mifares" in November 2011, even with some of the same pics.

There were several custom scabbards made by WKC. The one you show and the one of TTW do have some small differences, eg see the scabbard bands, the eyelets and the scabbard rings. also the motive towards the tip of the scabbard does differ.

Although the dagger shown by you is in salty and deranged (eagle)condition I think it is still collectible due to the rareness of These variants.

Regards,

Scabbard is a work of art, and the grip has appeal, not to mention I have never seen a de-capitated pommel eagle on a navy before!..neat piece! Kevin.

Gentlemen, thanks, for yours opinions.

Wotan, you absolutely right, this dagger I was bought from "mifare", but I don't remember that he posted it here. Maybe I missed it.
