Wow, I remember when they were selling these at gunshows and I kept putting off buying these. They were selling these for $75 dollars. I was buying AK's and ammo instead. Then they outlawed the knives at most shows.

These are totally illegal here now and I haven't seen one for sale for years. I think they are grouped by the ATF into the same category as destructive devices. Jim

These are classed as 'Very, very naughty' here in the UK and, I would imagine, most other places. Just for interest.. how far would the spring eject the blade?
If you want to criticise someone first walk a mile in their shoes. Then, when they come after you, you'll be a mile ahead and they'll be barefoot.

Jim ' If you read my post....you will understand. I collect all types of military knifes used by the forces today and before. I have Police permit to own such knifes. The Michrotech autos are fine...but this Balistic knife is a spesial one

These knives were never used by Spetsnaz according to the well know Russian author Max Popenker.

Looks neat BUT it just doesn't have the stopping power of a .45acp!

I remember these too from shows along time ago. I think they were called a balistic blade or something like that. If I recall, you buy them in the kit, and only became illegal if you put it together. Not sure if that is still valid though. They showed one in the "Deadliest Warrior" show that matched the Spetznaz against the US Special Forces.
